Joint contribution between NSU Art Museum and Nova Southeastern University - Department of Communication, Media, and the Arts, through Summer 2025 semester in a form of internship. Designed by Kolos Schumy Associate professor then further developed and executed by undergraduate art+design students and Museum staff.
Three pillars of the Immersive Museum Art Lab project
•Exhibit "Extended Reality Art Course" student’s artwork inside museum location through the virtual space during "Free First Thursday" events. Visitors were guided by internship students into immersive artwork with the use of headsets.
•Create and Design of immersive AR/VR experience on location as an extension of already existing physical exhibitions. During "Free First Thursday" events, visitors were guided by internship students into the virtual space with the use of headsets.
•Educate visitors to create immersive virtual and augmented reality spatial art, using headsets and sculpting applications. Internship students created curriculum and advertisement, then educate small groups of visitors. Finished sculptures were 3D printed and given away to participants.
